Funded by the Area Agency on Aging, this program was developed by Jewish Family Services in order to assist foreign-born older adults in accessing social and medical services, to offer them direct support, and to make their environment friendlier by promoting the process of acculturation and integration of older adult immigrants into the larger community. The New American Community Club is funded in part by the federal Older Americans Act and the AASA through the Area Agency on Aging 1-B. Jewish Family Services complies with the terms and regulations of the Title V of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as amended and Section 504 of the Social Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
