Kids Creating Community

JFS strives to connect the youth of Washtenaw County to their community.

We aim to foster a culture of volunteerism amongst families and engage young people in service, both to prepare them for a future commitment to responsibility and to better the local community today.

Kids Creating Community is a Volunteer Program. Opportunities exist for kids of all ages.

JFS has created the Kids Creating Community Program to engage young people in hands-on service-learning projects in and around Washtenaw County. Join us!

Know a teen interested in community leadership?

We are assembling a council of teens (grades 9-12) to act as the advisory council for this ongoing program. Teens will help create and organize upcoming service-learning projects. Interested teens should contact volunteer@jfsannarbor.org to learn more.
