JFS thanks the Michigan Health Endowment Fund for their generous grant!

JFS is honored to have received a grant of upwards of $300,000 towards our Evidence-Based Approach to Refugee Youth Trauma. This project will provide education and support to 40-60 family members via the youth-in-system, and to help identify mental health-related needs and subsequently connect those in need at JFS to appropriate internal or external support services through the integrated model.

The Michigan Health Endowment Fund works to improve the health and wellness of Michigan residents and reduce the cost of healthcare, with a special focus on children and seniors. You
can find more information about the Health Fund at mihealthfund.org

Thank you to Google and Welcome.US for sending us 250 computers to give out to our resettlement clients. We are so grateful for this generous donation! This donation will help our clients learn English, get jobs, do homework, and obtain needed behavioral health services.
