Support refugee resettlement services at Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County by donating a piece of artwork. JFS is sponsoring Festival of Lights, a community based, inter-faith event to raise awareness and funds to support refugee relief in Washtenaw County. The benefit will include an art installation and artist bazaar, an informational video presentation and conclude with a live musical concert. The artists bazaar will feature all categories of donated artwork. All funds gathered from the event will support refugee resettlement services at JFS.
The Festival of Lights benefit will take place on June 11, 2017 from 3-5pm at Towsley Auditorium, located in the Morris Lawrence Building at Washtenaw Community College.

Until this year, JFS has been the only U.S. State Department recognized resettlement agency in Washtenaw County. JFS provides a full spectrum of resettlement services, from moving families into their new homes and providing necessities such as food, furniture, and clothing, to enrolling clients in public benefits and providing counseling in the areas such as health and wellness, employment, finances, and literacy/English as a Second Language classes.
